Switching To Virgin Mobile

You will need to contact your current mobile phone provider and request a PAC code/Port Authorisation Code. This will usually take approximately 2-3 days to arrive. When you have received your PAC code,  click here  to view the very latest online deals and special offers from Virgin Mobile .  Once you have found the deal you want from Virgin Mobile , when completing your order, submit your PAC code when requested into the approprite box on the ordering form.  Virgin Mobile will then provide you with a temporary number to use whilst your existing number is transferred over, which may take a few days.

Please note - that you should not cancel your contract with your existing provider until they have provided you with your PAC code, free of charge, and you have given this to your new mobile phone provider, Virgin Mobile. If you cancel before then your new service provider, Virgin Mobile may not be able to transfer your number across and you may also incur a connection fee.

Switching From Virgin mobile

The first thing you need to do is contact your current network provider, Virgin Mobile on 0845 6000 789 (or 789 from your mobile phone) and request your Virgin MobilePAC/Port Authorisation code.  Virgin Mobile will either issue you it over the phone or send it in the post within 2 working days.  You will need to give this code to your new service provider in order to use your existing number with them.

Once you have your Virgin Mobile PAC code, you will be able to find the best deals to suit your requirements and order online - during the check out process there will be an area where you can enter your PAC code. Within 7 days the process should be complete and your exisiting SIM will no longer work. Your new mobile phone provider will provide you with a new SIM card.

If you are staying with the same mobile phone provider then you will be unable to 'port' your number and instead they will provide you with an upgrade.

You will be unable to 'port' your number if you have not completed your contract with your existing provider. Check your contractual terms for more information.
